The Whole Story (most of it)

Born October 5, 1985 in rural northwest Louisiana, J. Kay Weldon started where most young entertainers get their start: church. J. was a prominent musician during his time in high school.
After an eight year Marine Corps career, J. Kay received his degree in Recording Arts from The Los Angeles Film School. J. has performed in venues around the world. Such as: The Ice House (Pasadena, CA) La Buena Vida Vineyards (Grapevine, TX), and The Sterling Hotel (Dallas, TX), Thirstys E-Club (Okinawa, Japan), A Pizza Melody (Las Vegas, NV), Fashion 45, Kahuna's Enlisted Club, The Cellar (Honolulu, HI) J. also boasts several SHAKESPEARE credits such as: Duke of Cornwall (King Lear), Henry Bolingbroke/King Henry IV (Richard II) and most notably, headlining the Lewis Family Playhouse in Rancho Cucamonga, CA as Signior Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing) and the title role in William Shakespeare's Othello at The BOX Theatre in downtown Riverside.
Most recently, he has been seen at the Old Town Temecula Theatre (Temecula, CA), Point Loma Playhouse (San Diego, CA), Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre (Hemet, CA), Tao Comedy Studio (Los Angeles,CA) Flappers Comedy Club (Burbank, CA) and the Comedy Chateau (North Hollywood, CA).
